Any one searching for information on George Lohr who married Barbara (Nagel) I now have proof he indeed was in the militia in Lancaster. He enlisted on 25 July 1776 from Dauphin County, Derry Township of Lancaster. He was a private than a ensign and made Captain on 15 April 1783 in the first Bn.Lancaster county miliyia. I have a book on the George Lohr family from !750 until now. A lot of names and familys. If I can help any one find a family member. Please let me know.
Jane

Dear Bob, I am not sure if George is in my family. However, my great grandfathers name was Frank Lohr, originally from PA.I have very bad relations with the geneologists in my family, unfortunatly, no one is willing to share. I know this is very sad. So, i am on my own. I would like to find out whatever you have to share and would be so happy if i could find my own link.thanks Bob. Please e-mail me Ranger32909@cs.com looking foward to hearing from you. If you have any dates? GREAT!Thanks, Janae P.S. I'd like to get that book.

hi mississippi, i am actually behind on my geneology, however i do recall an e-mail or a posted message about that book. im sure i printed the message and have it here somewhere. the study of the Lohr side of my family was my latest endevor, but again i'm behind in my research. i would have to look but i think my Lohrs are from Iowa. Donald Wilson Lohr, my grandfather's father, was Frank Lohr. who had a 1/2 sister named Ruth. that's the first of it. thank you for being on the message board, lets all keep watching and maybe we could all figure out our family puzzles. janae
