I am searching for info on Matthew Jordan McCullers, married to Ida. They are on the 1910-Census, Donaldsonville GA in Decatur Co. My grandmother, Ruth McCullers (maiden name) was their daughter. She can be found on that census. My grandmother said Matthew had a sister named Mattie who was married to a Floyd. On the above census, John W. and Mattie J. Floyd, and son James Floyd are shown as living next door to Matthew McCullers family. I wonder if your Mattie McCullough married to Dick Floyd is the same as my Mattie McCullers married to John. I am now curious if my Mattie is of native-american descent? Some msg boards have that the McColloughs/McCullers are connected to the Blackfoot Sioux tribe. If anyone has any information on this McCullers family, please email me - debpoole@sowega.net.
