Surnames: Cantu, Cervantes
I am trying to find more information about my husband GG Grandmother Francisca (Cantu) Cervantes. I know that she married an Eduardo Cervantes in Mexico. They moved from Nuevo Leon, Mexico to Texas (presumably the Hidalgo County area) in abt 1919. Eduardo and Francisca brought their children Hipolita, Silvestre and Bernada. Their youngest Philemon stayed in Mexico. If you have any information, I would love to compare notes! Thanks!

Cleofas parents were Marcelino Cantu and Marcelina Sanchez and Francisca Mendoza's parents were Severiano Mendoza and Virginia Trevino. This is shown in Sofia's baptism record, see link below:

There is an entry here but they typed up the info from the next act record:

I should have all this on my website within 24 hrs:

Thanks for the reply! I'm a little confused on who Cleofas is and how he/she relates to my Francisca Cantu.

I can see why you would be confused, it seems like I wrote this reply to the wrong request. I have corrected this and sent it to the right person. I am sorry for the confusion.
