I don't know the date of Thomas Byrd. He was an adult in 1830 when he moved to MS from SC, married, with adult children. I've been told he was born in Lenoir Co., NC, and moved to Colleton Co., SC. I would assume he was born sometime around 1790.

I also married a Byrd who is a direct descendent from Byrds from VA who moved to the Duplin/Dobbs/Lenoir/Green Co. Is there a name in particular that you are looking for?

I believe the route my Birds came from was: Virginia - John Bird to Chown NC - to Bertie NC - then to Lenoir cty - then Richard Bird to Johnston county. My line comes from Richard Bird II - his son Redding (Redden) Bird who married Mary Martin in Johnston Cty. ** Does anyone know who the parents of Mary Martin were? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks - Nelson
