Norben covered many, many desdcendants of the two farthest back Arterburns he could find, Peter and William Arterburn, brothers of Dunmore Co VA. William moved to Jefferson Co KY about 1800 on a flatboat with his wife, Rachel Smoots, all of his children and two of his brother Peter's children. There were 25 people all together in this move. Peter and the rest of his family stayed predominantly in VA. Everyone is listed in alphabetical order in "Cousins" and C. Norben gives data about each person, going down to 1977. Trying to connect to Catherine Arterburn who married John Waller. Catherine was the daughter of James Arterburn and Mary Elsea. Catherine was born about 1806 and died after 1870. She was living in Sullivan co., Tn. in 1860 and in 1870 she was in Monroe co., Ky.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Harrison Arterburn and Susan Prince, Harrisons parents were
Wiilian Arterburn and Rachel Smoots. I didn't know anything about them until now. I always wanted know how they got to Kentucky and were they came from.

Do you know anything else about Susan.....was she from Tennessee? Did she have a sister named Sarah? When was she born. Thanks

My grandmother was born in Sullivan County to Sarah Arterburn....no information as to birthdate, possibly 1850 or so.....do you know if your Catherine had a sister?
