Nancy,
Did I ever get back to you? Sorry if I did not. I have been working on Croswell & Herrick, buried in Chestnut Hill, Saugerties, so Shultis has been on the back burner.
I've just started on them again, trying to sort out the 'original' families. there have been some mistakes, and confusion.
I'm trying to stay on the Georges, Philips & Henrys born through 1830. With so many, and naming conventions, it's not easy.

I'm a friend of a daughter of 'Woody' Sherwood Shultis; son of Benjamin & Maza; son of Luther & Charlotte; son of Philip & Margaret.
I live on Glasco Tpk, just down from Shultis Corners.

Hope to hear from you,
Peigi

Shultis Corners is the intersection of State Rt 212 & Glasco Tpk, Saugerties/Woodstock border, formerly known as Daisy.
Can't figure out which Shultis it's named for, as a few lived in this area. My guess: Nicholas; or Edgar; or John B.
Glasco Tpk got it's name from the Glass Co Rd, going from Bristol, where they made glass, (lots of Reynolds family) (present Willow area) to the Hudson. One of the S's fell off the sign, and it became Glasco. It's County Rt 32, not to be confused with State Route 32, which also is here.
