Hi Katie, Does the photo relate to members of the Morel Family. Many thanks,Robert Eastwood

Re: uniform identification, possibly French
Hi Robert we think so, the photo came from Gladys Eastwood and Ernest Morels son Bernard Morel and his wife Audrey! Unfortunately we don't have a name so can only speculate at present!

Re: uniform identification, possibly French
Katie, Thank you. I will ask Bernard & Audrey. I have been in contact with them recently, but had not seen the photo at that point. Bernard is my cousin. Thanks again. Best wishes for the New Year, Robert

Re: uniform identification, possibly French
Hi Robert Unfortunately they do not know who was in the photo either. There was no writing on the back and the photo was amongst Bernies fathers things. I was trying to get clues from the photo age, country ect. Best wishes for the New Year to yourself and family aswell :) Katie xx

Re: uniform identification, possibly French
Hi, Katie, Looking at the Militaty Record of Edward Morrell (Morel) He was in the 20th Hussars, Enlisted in 1914, Married in 1918 and looking at the wedding dress it all appears to be the wedding of Edward & Phoebe. Regards Robert

Re: uniform identification, possibly French
Robert, Katie, before you get carried away, please be aware that soldier in the photograph has flaming grenade collar dogs, so certainly wasn't in the 20th Hussars; he's an artillery man.
