The funeral of Mrs. Clarissa LINCOLN GREEN widow of the late Lorenzo GREEN passed away Sunday, January 21, age nearly seventy five years, was held from the family home Wednesday, January 24th. Rev. J. M. MERRILL, pastor of the Congregation Church officiated. Interment in the Valley View Cemetery.
Among those present from out of town Mr. and Mrs. TURNEY of Charlotte Central, William FULLER, Mrs. Minnie GREEN of Jamestown, Mr. and Mrs. Albert WHEELOCK, Ezra KIMBALL of Poland, Mr. and Mrs. Henry LORD of Dewittville and Mrs. Marina PUTNAM of Campbell.
Clarissa LINCOLN was born in Ticonderoga, New York, April 23, 1837 one of a family of eleven children, the last one to pass away, coming to Chautauqua County with her parents at the age of 2 years which has since been her home. She was married to Lorenzo GREEN, August 25, 1855. Seven children were born to Mr. and Mrs. GREEN of whom four survive. Theron L., Seward L., Ellen and Ira L.. These and a grandson Marion T. GREEN all reside in Ellington.
Clarissa's father, Lemuel LINCOLN is my 3rd great grandfather. I am searching for his parents and siblings
Lemuel LINCOLN b ca 1783, d 25 Feb 1851 Ellington, Chautauqua County buried in Clear Creek Cemetery, tombstone states 1783-1849 but he is listed in the Chautaugua County 1850 Census and his wife's Petition for Pension (1865) states 25 Feb 1851. He served in the War of 1812 from 1813 to 1815. He married Achsa (STEVENS) LINCOLN 19 Jul 1818 in Orwell, Addison County, VT. Achsa was born ca 1801 and d ca 1870, according to Elizabeth Crocker, she is also buried in Clear Creek Cemetery. Her parents are Beriah and Clarissa STEVENS.
Lemuel and Achsa are found in the 1820 and 1830 Essex County Census, the 1840 and the 1850 Cattaraugus County Census. Achsa is found widowed in the 1855 Chautauqua Census having lived there four years. In the 1860 Athens Township, Crawford County, PA she living with my 2nd great grandfather Ira LINCOLN.

Ira b 4 Jun 1820 d 16 Jan 1881 Scott Township, Johnson County, IA married Cynthia TRACY b 1822 d 1 Jan 1880 Scott Township, Johnson County, IA. They were married as of Sep 1848 (land records).
Adaline b 16 Jul 1822. There is an Adaline buried in Clear Creek Cemetry with a gravestone date of 1819-1843. In land records of 1842 there is an Adaline listed as Ira's wife. My 2nd great grandmother, Ira's wife Cynthia TRACY was also born in 1822. Mystery.
Lewis b 31 Jul 1824 listed in land records in 1846 and 1848, nothing else known.

Electra b 13 Nov 1829 Essex County, NY married Harrison BUSH 28 Dec 1847 moved to Bloomfield Township, Crawford County, PA in 1852.
Lemuel Jr. b 27 Sep 1832, there is a Lemuel Jr. buried in Clear Creek Cemetery gravestone states 1832-1846.
Achsa b 14 Jan 1835 d 22 Mar 1911 Ellington, Chautauqua County, NY married Aaron FULLER, 30 Oct 1854 Aaron FULLER b 19 Sep 1828 d 17 Feb 1910 Ellington, Chautauqua County, NY. Father Nathaniel FULLER, Mother Phebe CLAPP.
Rileyon b 16 Apr 1840 Cattaraugus County, NY died 1 Nov 1864 Andersonville Prison, Macon County, GA served in the 12th New York Cavalry Company E and Company F.
Russell b 24 Dec 1842 Cattaraugus County, NY d 5 Dec 1864 Annapolis, MD buried Ashgrove United States Cemetery, Annapolis, MD. Served as a corporal in Company H, 4th Cavalry Regiment Pennsylvania taken prisoner and sent to Andersonville Prison was exchanged 10 Nov 1864 died the next month.
