I'm trying to find my great-grandfather family. His name was
William John Franklin Moore born in November 28, 1862 in Washington, NC. (African American) He was educator and Methodist minister in NC. (The latest address that I have is in Gladden Street, Washington NC). He was married twice; his first wife was Mary Murphy or Mary Boon Murphy and his second wife being Lula. Also, I have some additional information about his descendants.
The names of his sons and daughters are: William C. Moore, (I believe that William C. (Bill) Moore moved to live in Chicago or New York in the 40's or the 50's, he had two sons, Harry Moore, and George Moore)
Vivian Moore (his husband name was James)
Beatriz or Beatrix Moore
Elmer Moore, (my grandfather), he was a musician, and John Moore.
Velma, my grandfather's niece had 3 or four children, one of the daughters had studied at Wheaton College, her bigger son graduated in the University of Bucknell in 1953, and later he went to the Army. In 1954 he was lieutenant. The smaller Velma son had 15 years in 1954.And in 1954 she was living in New York.

I don't have any information for your search but I would like to ask you a question. My name is Audrey Middleton and I am looking for any information about my father. His name was Darryl Moore. He was est. born in 1950-1951. He lived with his Mother in Bayshore, New York on Long Island and attended Bayshore high school from 1965-1970. My Mother dated him at Bayshore High School and her name was Laurel Middleton. She passed away in 1978 when I was 8 and always told me that she would tell me about my father when I turned 18. Unforntunately, she wasnt here on my 18th birthday.
