Hi,
I am also looking for information on this same line. Randle BENNETT (DOB: 11/08/1801) is my 4x great grandfather. I lose the trail after his parents Randle BENNETT & Mary GASKELL. Do you have any further information on them?

I do have a marriage certificate for Randle BENNETT and Fanny BOLTON if you need it.

Thanks!

I have marriage certificate of Randle and Fanny Bolton with marriage on 1 Sep 1839in Wigan, Lancashire, England; death certificate for Randle Bennett, born 8 Nov 1801, died 8 April 1864,Warrington, Lancaster, England. I have unsuccessfully researched for birth date of his mother, Mary Gaskell. Have you found that information yet?
I am also looking for documentation of births of Randle and Fanny's children, the oldest is Thomas born 1840 (I have his birth certificate) and six other children. The 1900 census in Utah lists Fanny Bolton Bennett in Utah and she states she has seven children with two living.

Just been reading your posts. I have started research on this side of my family. and live not too far from Newton-le-Willows (or Newton-in-Makerfield) as it used to be called. If there is anything I can help with or you would like to share information please let me know.

Concerning "Thomas Bennett 26 June 1812 Ludworth, Glassopr, Derby, England"
Any chance you have a death date and place for this Thomas Bennett? I've been stumped for over 30 years trying to find my ancestor in England. 1850 census of Iowa says he was born about 1811 in England - and died on the Oregon Trail in 1852. That's been my only clue to date.
Also, I've done a 46 marker DNA test if someone in your Thomas Bennett's line has also done one, I'd love to compare.
Thanks, Greg Bennette, Salem, OR

TheThomas Bennett's death I am looking for was for the Thomasd born in 1840, parents are Randle Bennett and Fannie Bolton. I am going to be searching for children of Randle and Mary Gaskill soon and if I find anything I will let you know. Do you have a wife for Thomas, born 1812, or spouses for any of the other children of Randle (born 1775) and Mary Gaskill. I do not have any of that information.
Thanks!

My Thomas Bennett married Phoebe Creswell in Iowa in 1848. He was about 35 then. I think he may have been married earlier but have no evidence other than suspicion based on how old he was when he married my great grandmother. I'm holding out hope for DNA. - Greg
