Surnames: Mezo
My paternal grandfather Ben Mezo's , father Samuel Amos Mezo was killed in a coal mine explosion near Herrin, Il. in 1917. His father was Moses E. Mezo, we believe he lived in Hamilton Co.. We located a printout from a local newspaper (possibly from Ham. Co.) called " THE LEADER" which showed an obit from 11-27-1913. That Moses and his daughter Mrs. Harrison Barlow died on the same day (Why?).
Both buried in Little Springs Cemetary. Moses married to Elenor Foster and Ethel Eldridge. If you have any info. i would appreciate knowing more.. Thank You.
