Peter Gatson, m. Elizabeth in a Quaker marriage at Bedford, VA, Buchanan Co.? Their first child was Wm. Gatson born about 1771 and died 1826 in Clark Co., KY.
Anyone have information on him or the Gatson family?

Hi, My ggrandmother was Julia Gatson daughter of Smith & Sophia Gatson both born in Kentucky.1830 Kentucky cesus has a listing for Elizabeth,Thomas, and Smith Gatson And thats as far as I've gotten. Do you have any further info. I sure need help. Thanks

According to info I have, Peter and Elizabeth's son, William, born abt 1832/1834, married Susan (no last name), born March 1838. They had Geroge F., Jan. 6, 1862, (died bef 1900) and Obadiah D, abt 1867. He married, (6 Apr, 1882) Emma Watts Haggard, born 21 Apr, 1862, (died 19, Nov 1945). George and Emma had 7 children, Oscar Frank, 20 Aug, 1883, (died 12 Nov, 1976), Obediah, abt 1885, (died bef 1900) Grant Robinson, 31 May, 1887, Harriett Frances, 2 Mar, 1890, George Clifford, 6 Feb, 1893, Albert Snowden, 18 Jan, 1898, Emma Louise, 14 Jul, 1901. My daughter-in-laws line is through George's 1st son, Oscar, who was married, 3 times?
