My Dangel connection is in the mirky Hessian past. Getrud Dangel was born about 1720 and was the daughter of Johann and grandaughter of another Johann Dangel. Her gr. gr. grandson, Johann Trageser, emigrated to America. Anyone have connections?

If you happen to come across a Catherine Louisa Dangel...We don't know what her maiden name was nor whom she married...but she married a Dangel and they had two children....Louis Dangel and Mary Dangel, in your lineage...let me know...we could be related.

Glad to hear someone intereseted in these Dangels. Why do you think it's the same lineage? Not sure if I can be much help. I'm pretty sure that my Gertrud had a brother named Johann Konrad born about 1729 and possibly another one named Johann about 1737, but those are not sure. Also Gertrud's Father, Johann may have had a brother named Balthsar probably born around 1680-1690, but that's another guess. I don't know much more.
