Looking for information regarding family of John Feast and Hannah Ann Taylor] m 6 Mar 1856 Eng, arr Toronto, Ontario with dau, Alice Maria in 1856/7. Richard Taylor b 1858, Tor; my ancestor, Rowland John b Toronto 1860; then fam went to Niagara Penninsula [Chippewa area]. John d abt 1865, and Hannah went back to the Isle of Wight. Two stories - one, she took all the children; two she left the two boys with kindly neighbours and came back for them.
Would like info on Alice Maria b Eng 1856; Annie b Niagara 1862; Rose Emily b Niagara 1863; Amanda b Niagara 1864; Bertha b 1864.
Also would like to connect with desc of of Richmond Taylor FEAST m Harriet Amelia VARDON; arr back in Toronto 1888. Any info on Rowland John Feast arr back in Toronto 1890's appreciated.

The Feast family I am looking for came from the Isle of Wight

My dad was born in Portsmouth, by mother was
adopted as "Dowsett". I was born in Kent in
'50, and came to Canada in '55. Will have to
get a hold of my parents (they are in Florida
basking in the sun!!) and try to get some more
info.

I haven't heard my dad talk about the Isle of
Wight, but if he ever gets that darn computer
of his fixed I will ask him. I am sure it
shouldn't take too long because he is kind of
lost without it. lol

My family line comes from Portsmouth too. I was born there on 5 Dec 1949. - Brian David Feast

My father was David George Feast
His father was George Henry Feast
and his father (I think Frederick) was married near Ipswich around 1893.

Sadly all the family history info is at my mother house a 100 miles away but once I lay my hands on it then I will get moving faster!!
