Per your request, I believe the following is true: He came to San Antonio from Kentucky, was a judge during his life, his middle name was Williams, was grandfather to 5 time S.A. Mayor Walter McAllister, was one of my maternal great-great-grandfathers. One of my maternal grandfathers also bore the name Samuel Williams McAllister(died about 1950) as did my mother's brother(died about 1943 at Solomon Islands, Betio, Tarawa Atoll,USMC, WWII). My oldest of two living younger brothers also bears the name of Samuel Williams Weaver which apparently goes back to the original Samuel Williams Mcallister's family influence (I wonder about the origin of the Williams Portion). My mother's maiden name was Jacqueline McAllister born in S.A. October 1923. Her paternal grandmother was Sophie Santleben who married Edward McAllister(I believe a son to your requested Samuel McAllister). I don't know much about the rest of the tree, but I surely would Like to.

Sophie Santleben McAllister was a sister of my maternal grandfather, Ferdinand C. ("Sandy") Santleben. My mothers' name was Mary Lou Santleben and my grandmother was Josie Zumwalt.
I am very interested in learning more information as I am new to this research.

Hello there. This particular Samuel Williams McAllister is believed to be the son of Samuel McAllister and his wife Mary Kay Williams of Adair Co. Ky. even though he says he was born in Boyle Co. Ky. , his mother may have been from there . He is said to have left home at the age of 16 and never returned, after having an argument with his family. Contact me to share info if you like. Hello, just wondering if anyone had anymore information on the McAllisters of Kentucky or when they were in San Antonio? Also, any information about Mary Magdalene Braden, Samuel Williams McAllister's wife, and where she was from and when she came to this country? And where did you get your information about the McAllisters?

Thank you!

H
