I'm sorry I can't help you, but I got excited when I saw "Del Norte". I'm origanally from Del Norte. I now live in Indianapolis, Indiana. I'm also looking for family. My grandfather was Amarante Medina. My father is Louis Medina who still lives in Del Norte. Do we know eachother?
Please responde, Norman.

I am looking for a Luciano or Lucio. He was born in Mexico, and came to Colorado in the 1940's to work. I believe he worked in Juarez, Mexico as a radio anouncer. He would be in his 80's right now, if not deceased. I think his name was something like Luciano or Lucio Medina Banjelos. He had a daugher by the name of Carmen Medina his first marriage to a young woman at the time, named Elena..... Luciano most likely got married again and settled down in Colorado. I have been looking for my own Medina family for some time...

Hello,
Do you have the name of Leonor Medina in your family history? We know she lived in the San Luis Valley and was married to Cesario/Sesario Padilla. This would have been in the late l800. We have a little more information and will share what we have is this name ties in with your Family. H. Dunn

I am researching my Medina line. My grandfather was Eleuto Medina. He lived in San Luis until about 1986. His father was Felipe Nero Medina. I believe Felipe was from Abique, NM.

Hi Rita,
Yes, Eleuto was my grandfather. My grandmother was Andrea, a teacher for many years in San Luis. My father is Alfonso. Estella lives in California. Any information you have about Eleuto's family would be appreciated. Nice to "meet" you.

I remember your dad very well. Is your Mom's maiden name Archuleta? Your dad estella were good friends with my mom rose and her husband, Agapito Olivas. In fact estella is a god mother to one of my step sisters, Livinia. We were friends and neighbors with Ruth's sister, Betty Zamora. I would love to hear how all of these people are doing as I have fond memories of all, especially Mrs. Medina. She was a terrific teacher. It has been nice hearing from you.
