I am descended from Sarah Susannah Preston
who married Thomas Fairchild II in Stratford
Fairfield, CT back in the late 1600s. I
have information on the Preston family going
back to the DePrestons in 1300 if anyone is
interested.

Searching for info. on George H. Preston, born Yorkshire, UK. Lived in Cincinnati, OH for several yrs. At least 2 children born in Cincinnati, Albert Edward and Harry G. Albert was born 27 Jul. 1884. He returned to UK and then back to US after his marriage in 1909 (?).

Robert do you know any of the names of the Preston's in Lincoln. My grandfather was George Ray Preston, he had several brothers that lived in Lincoln. My grandmother was Surrah Elizabeth Preston born 1893 possibly in Illinois died in 1993 in Montgomery Co. Mo. I was curious about your posting, I found more infor re my family... George Emanuel Preston b. 1875, m. Dolly M. Barry, had a sister Lily, another Edith, and a brother we think in Junietta NB, he married and had 2 daughters, Floy Violet 3/8/97, and Molly and then moved to central CA. We have a picture of a large Preston family in NB. Any chance there is a connection? I have no info prior to George... Thanks, Nancy
