My Great Grandmother was Christina Wich. She was from Durrenwaid Germany. Her father was Michael Wich and mother Henriette Wich. These names from her US Marriage Certificate - married in Peoria, IL in 1892.

Christina was born in Durrenwaid in 1870. She left Durrenwaid with her cousin Henreietta Klozner and came to the US in 1888. They both left large families back in Durrenwaid.

There must be a connection?

Sincerely,
