I found the following on my great grandparent's graves:
Name, 1863-1937, followed by:

FOA No4 DOH No494 on GreatGrandpa's.

GreatGrandma has 1870-1933 followed by:

ODF No4.

Anyone have any idea what these mean? No other crypts in same mausoleum have these inscriptions. No one at the cemetery had any idea.

No answers, just a suggestion. Try asking a monument company and a funeral home. Good Luck!

Have asked several funeral directors, to no avail. Also cemetery associations, town clerks and historians. this one is really a head scratcher! thx for the encouragement, tho!

it may help.
Was your great grandfather a forester, that is what the FOA stands for on this website. and DOH is Degree of Honor
