ADELLA,IS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN BORN IN GEORGIA ABT. 1893 1896,IT HAS BEEN SAID SHE WAS CAUCASION BUT MAY HAVE BEEN MULATTO.SHE EVENTUALLY MARRIED ESTHOM LYONS,WHO WAS BORN IN NOVA SCOTIA,SHE HAD A DAUGHTER NAMED CARNS WHEN SHE MET MY GRANDFATHER AND THEY EVENTUALLY HAD A DAUGHTER EMMA LYONS WHO WAS MY GRANDMOTHER.SOME CENSUS RECORDS SHOW IN THE 1910 CENSUS SHE RESIDED IN COLUMBIA COUNTY GEORGIA BEFORE MIGRATING TO DETROIT.ANY INFORMATION APPRECIATED AND HELPFUL.

As far as I can tell the LYONS Family was never in Nova Scotia..in spite of what the census says for Esthom

I wanted to mention that the mistake of NS as US in census records happens all the time...most of the time it is a definite error. I have been doing genealogy for abt 10 yrs and I see it all the time.

the one in the 1910 census cannot be your ADELLA as she is single
as is Esthom in the 1910 census...

ESTHOM AND ADELLA ARE STILL IN GEORGIA IN 1920
