I am researching the same line that you mentioned. I surveyed Antioch Cemetery in Saline County, Arkansas, it is otherwise known as the Tillery Community there. I am trying to do a workup on each family buried there and the Tillerys are a big part of that community and cemetery, besides that they tie into so many of the Saline County families that I am researching. I hope to hear from you, there is a girl that lives in Atkins that is kin to you and researching this line also. My email address is I would appreciate you getting in contact with me.

I live not far from Atkins, Arkansas. I hope we are kin. I can't seem to get any farther than great grandma. My grandpa Eugene Tillery had 8 brothers: Clemmie, Lee, Cecil , Alfonzo, and 6 others. They are all dead now. Buried at Jethro, Hunt, aand Cass in Arkansas.

Hi! I was so excited to see your posting! My name is Patty Hughes Taylor. My great grandfather was Samuel Lafayette Tillery, who was Monroe Bryan Tillery's brother. I am writing a Tillery family history book on our family. It is going well. As a matter of fact, I spoke with your father last week, but he was busy and couldn't talk much. He said he'd talk with me if he visits Arkansas in December... if not, he said he'd visit with me more in March. My family refers to your father as "Tiny." I'm trying to gather family information from every family member, and I'd LOVE to hear from you! Please email me at! Thanks! Patty Taylor

I haven't heard from you in awhile, and I just stumbled upon your message again. I'm the one who's writing the Tillery family history book on our family. Remember me? I've since talked to Jane and Tiny... and SEVERAL other family members to gather information. I've been talking with Burlie Tillery Tucker's descendants over the past few days. My email address is if you would email me. I'd like to check some information with you and see if you'll help me gather some pictures for this book if you would please. I hope to hear from you soon! Hello...I was just scanning this site and I was wondering if you could tell me if in your research for your book you came across information regarding African American Tillery descendants. Looking for Mary Jane Tillery who married Gordon Wills circa 1880. They lived in Halifax county around Enfield, NC
