Anybody got info on:

Mary Mertz/Maria Mertz/Maria Eva Mertz/Mary Eva Mertz

Mertz (could be Merz) is the maiden name.

Her married name is Depperschmidt.

She is from Russia and considering her marriage took place in Russia I'm going to assume she was from the same place as her husband, which was Schoenchen, Russia. One of the colonies by the Volga River near Saratov. They came over together to the United States in 1876. They lived in Big Timber, Rush, Kansas.

I don't know who her parents were or really anything else about her.

You may have heard about this resource but am providing just in case you are new to the hobby. www.ahsgr.org serves extensively the German colonies along the Volga River in the Saratov region. They serve other regions as well but are particular focused on this one.
