Michael Weber, My name is Kurt and noticed in your query the name of Petutschnig. I have relatives in Arnoldstein Austria and am told my aunt ANNA was married to man with that name. I do not know if the spelling is correct.I understand he had some rank of royality in Poland. He has passed away as has my aunt. Her daughter (my cousin) lives in Arnoldstein. This may help you and if I can help in the future please respond. Thank you and I remain Kurt

Hello,

I am researching the surname SULIN. My grandfather was John SULIN, b. June 1866 in Austria-Hungary, not known if Province of Carinthia. Possible in Slovakia. I do not know when he emigrated to the USA. In 1894 he married Elizabeth SLOFF, who did come from Slovakia. They lived in Helvetia, Pennsylvania, USA, and had 9 children including my father, Peter, who died in 1969. John died June 1926. My family spells the name in both ways, SULIN and SULLIN. I will exchange information on a private basis if it will help us.

I just found out today on my great grandfather's death certificate that Dortha Golker was the mother of Ferdinand W. Kroggel born Sept 4, 1854 in Germany and died Aug 4, 1914 in Moberly, Missouri, USA. He emigrated to USA from Hamburg, Germany in 1881. His father and husband of Dotha Golker was William Kroggel. I thought that Ferdinand Kroggel was from Alsaic-Lorainne.
