My father died here but was born in Kent County, as was my grandfather.
I neglected to mention that in the previous message.

Cail Family Kent county NB:
Rachel, in response to your posting 9 Nov 2006 to Gordon Cail (whose email bounces back):
My connection is that of Maria Forster, who married John Cail. Maria’s father was Wilfred Forster of Richibucto/Rexton. One of his sons, James (& his son also) was a master mariner, and my specific ancestors.
John & Maria Cail moved west, yes, but only as far as Huron County, Ontario; their first son was named Wilfred :-)
I am still stumbling about trying to sort out the various Cail families, and I’m not really sure who the parents of ‘my’ John Cail were; I think maybe Jonathon and Christabel - no firm proof.
And there are several such instances. Let’s say that I cannot pass my info on to anyone else until I feel certain!
Another unanswered question is: Which family did the second Thomas and Jessey belong to; by ‘second’, I mean the couple in which Jessey (b 1825) was widowed from Thomas between 1861 and 1871. As opposed to Thomas and Jessey Irving, about the same ages.
Rachel, I would really like to touch base with you, and will also try the email address that appears to be for you.
Thanks, Gail (Forster) Browne, London, Ont.
