**I assume William and Edward are probably brothers.

my fathers father name was jimmy gillyard(not sure of spelling). his mother was named bealuah. he was born in charleston in the early 1900`s. not sure of his birthday because he was seperated from his parents at an early age. my father died 1992 and to this day we do not know any of his realitives. would appreciate any information.

I will be hosting a Gilliard-Gaillard-Gillyard-Gilyard family reunion in Ft. Lauderdale, FL Aug 1-3, 2003. I can be reached at lwsdanag@aol.com. I am related to the late Eddie(Edward) Gaillard out of South Carolina. He had a lot of brothers and sisters that we don't know. According to the records that name has been changed several times. My parents have searched the east side of the US. We are looking for the above family members. We want to gather and have a great time. Our family members are black. Our ancestors were once workers of Mr. Gaillard out of France. We have been planning this reunion for a while and can't contact everyone. If anyone has any information it would be helpful. Eddie Gaillard - was born around 1886 and had many children. Eddie Jr, Ella, Abertus, Issac, Sarah, Laura, Lizzie, George, Jafare, Maimie and Levan. I believe my grandfather was half white and black, but looking at my family members (I can't see it at all).

My father, Eugene Paul Gillard was born on the cherokee reservation in Muskogee,Ok. He had a brother Theo,and a sister, Helen . His mother took Theo & ran away. My father & aunt were raised in an orphanage. Helen was adopted by Mable Clute and raised in Illinois.

My father Gene, lied about his age & joined the navy. He married my mother, Ava Deane Cross . They are botrh buried at Fort Rosecranz Cemetary.

Could we possibly be related?
