Kimberley, Warren J.
MADISON - Warren J. Kimberley, age 77, died on Wednesday, February 7, 2001, at his home. He was born on October 1,1923, in Cross Plains,
the son of Coral and Elizabeth (Juris) Kimberley. Warren served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European Theater. He worked for the city
of Madison streets department for 35 years, retiring in 1986.
Warren enjoyed fishing, woodworking, metal crafting, and watching western movies and reading western novels. He was a member of American Legion
Post 501. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Amalia; three
children, Cheryl (Dave) Banker, Diane (Jack) Robertson and Richard Kimberley, all of Madison; two grandchildren, David
(Vicki) Banker II of Waunakee, and Katie Rose Robertson, of Madison; a brother, James (Fay) Kimberley of Madison; his in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death
by his parents; and a brother Arthur.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2001, at 10:30 a.m. at ST. DENNIS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road,
with Father Kent Schmitt presiding. Entombment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Park, where military rites will be held by the Madison Area Veterans
Council. Friends may call on Friday, February 9, 2001, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the church. The family wishes to thank Meriter Hospital and HospiceCare for all of the care and
support they provided.
