This photo was taken in the mid 1950's, probably in the Cleveland area or somewhere near Lake Erie. The only letters I can make out on the base appear to be JA_______OOD. Thanks in advance for your help.

I can't identify & I was born & raised in Cleveland. my suggestion is to call the downtown Cleveland Public Library & talk to one of their staff. Maybe you can email them the picture. Also try emailing or calling the Western Reserve Historical Society located in Cleveland. They are both usually a great help. Good Luck! I am curious too.

One other note. I was born the year after the Indians won the world series, and will probably die the year before they win it again.

I can not get over the resemblance to John D.Rockfeller?
The surroundings look as though they are University Circle Area or the Downtown Mall...
I can find nothing and the letters do not match up.
I lived on W.97 near Denison and am a tribe fan too...moved to the Atlanta area the same year the Indians choked...man did I catch some hell!
