I am looking for information on Baldassare Chiappetta's family. He was born in Poggioreale, Sicily and came to New Orleans around 1892.
I am also trying to connect the Chiappetta-Chauppetta-Chauppette families. I would appreciate any help that I can get. Thanks.

I am looking for my granfather's parents. My grandfather was Salvador Chauppette, born 8/19/05 and died 6/11/77. His obituary says his parents were Guy Chauppette and Kathryn (Katie, Kathrene) Cannatella - can't get any further!!! Have any of these named crossed your research?

Hi, Yes. I went to the MOrmon Family Research Center in Baton Rouge and found my great-grandmother's birth certificate. I was shocked at all of the information they have - I had no idea geneology was so imortant to them. I had to stop - it became ALL CONSUMING! Please let me know what your grandmother has to say.
