My grandmother (Evaline Tagatz Phillips) had old photos of places in Marquette County and people who are not in my immediate family. They are in JPEG form and can be emailed to anyone who wants them. Just let me know the number assigned to the picture you want (don't be shy; ask for as many as you want). They include pictures of:

Mecan Bridge near Germania, Wisconsin (#1003); Schubert Grocery Store in Pipe, Wisconsin (#1004); Bertha Hill's wedding with Norman Webber Sr., possibly Mrs. Webber; Norman Weber Jr., Bertha Vera Hill Webber, Vera Phillips Hill and Floyd Hill (#1022); Clarence, Evalyne and Wilfred Kroll (#1046); baby picture of Laurie Anne Bartell (#1060); John Bandt graduation picture (#1061); girls' basketball team with Etta Wandry, Alene Meinke, Leta Leonard, Agnes Haney and Evaline Tagatz (#1093 and #1094); Elsie Fratzke (#1163); Rosemary, unknown baby and Wilfred Wall (#1165); Hertha Nickolai (#1191); Pfc. George J. Hill (#1224); old Farmer Street, Princeton postcard (#1228); Babe and Mary Ann (Gene Hartwell's daughter) (#1229); Westfield High School (#1239); Ellen Kaye Tagatz (#1273); American House, Princeton old postcard (#1309); Bob Cotter (#130); Fox River, Princeton old postcard (#1310); Water Street, Princeton old postcard (#1311); Business Street, Princeton old postcard (#1312); Angelina Ellis Phillips Hartwell (#1460); Dorothy Cottrel, Frieda Tagatz and Augusta Henke in 1962 (#1470); Germania Creamery (#1484); Irene Kieck and Clarence Roberg or Robarge? (#340); Irene Kieck Robarge (#356); 7 female students in front of high school including Elaine Krause, Coralyn Bandt and Arlene Weckwerth (#482); S.N. Hartwell's Barn and Livery in Germania (#520); Germania Flouring Mill (#521); A.E. Hartwell Hardware Store in Germania (#523); June Kelm (#53 & #69); musical band including George Warnke, Ellis Phillips, Julius Warnke, August Mike, Richard Koch, Adolph Mueller (creamery man), Richard Fenske and Chris Muehler (#966); Eddie and Bennie Phillips (#982); 8 male students at high school in 1946, including Melvin Standke, Ivan Dorsey, George Mueller, Wilmar Gohlke, Donnie Bandt, Bill Warmbier, Alfred Jenson and George Phillips (#245).

In addition, I have two well-labeled but large school group pictures. I'm not sure which school this is, but it includes my grandfather who lived in Germania, Marquette County, Wisconsin: (#1279 - about 508KB) maybe in the early 1920's or 1910's including Willie Schwanke, Arnold Timm, Ruth Schroeder, Norman Schroeder, Lillie Schwanke, Lillie King, Valeria Priebe, Sidney Hoeft, Anna Timm, Irene Weber, Art Schroeder, Helen Schwanke, Leona Weber, Carrie Phillips, Theodora Parker, Maurice Hartwell, Edmund Schroeder, George Tagatz, Arnold Jahnke, Rheinhold Timm, Fred Timm, Louis Berndt, Fred Phillips, Albert King, Armond King, Minnie Berndt, Adeline Berndt, Viola Schroeder, Helen Zuehlke, Ida Priebe, Laura Warnke, Lillian Tagatz, Lenore Schwanke, Lucy Priebe, Margaret Grahn, Ed Timm, Max King, Paul Schroeder, Elgin Berndt, Rhinold Jahnke, Jake Zuehkle, Ervin Koepp, Herman Meyer, Miss Lillian Hoeft (teacher), Miss Vera Phillips (teacher), Della Koepp.

(#1280 - about 508KB) -- a few years later than the previous picture (early 1920's or 1910's): Edmund Schroeder, George Tagatz, Adolph Priebe, Louis Berndt, William Schwanke, Christian Grahn, Edwin Berndt, Arnold Timm, Norman Schroeder, Harley Hoeft, Alfred Weber, Dorothy Schroeder, Evelyn Priebe, Lillian Schwanke, Ruth Schroeder, Roland Warnke, Elmer Muehrer, Rhinold Jahnke, Fred Phillips, Helen Schwanke, Anna Timm, Carrie Phillips, Beatrice Grahn, Adeline Berndt, Miss Hazel Stomner (teacher), Miss Faultina Plautz (teacher), Viola Schroeder, Ida Priede, Minnie Berndt, Leona Weber, Irene Weber, Valeria Priebe, Sidney Hoeft, Art Schroeder, Arvilla Grahn, Maurice Hartwell.

Another group picture is partially labeled and possibly a religious confirmation class or other church-related formal picture, likely in the early 1920's: includes Lester Knaack, Edwin Flynn, Paul Freitag, _____ Mateska, Conrad Detman, Paul Hoffman, William Bartlett, Rudolph Theobold, Arnold Klettke, Walter Flynn, ____ Krueger, Herman Witt, Reverend Theobold, _______ Klawitter, Honora Wegenke, Else Theobold, Eleanora Manthey, Adaline Schuman, ___ Saltzwedel, ____ Klawitter, Clara Witt, Edna Bornick, Lucile Radke, _____ Krueger, ____ Krueger, Evaline Tagatz (my grandmother), Fritz Miller, Evelyn Sell.

I also have many photos of my family including Tagatz, Schubert, Phillips and Klawitter surnames. Let me know if you are interested in these lines as I have a lot of genealogy information and photos on them.

I don't know why my emails bounced back, but I'm glad you could reach me on this message board instead. I'll send those pictures to you today. You should have them by this evening.

For other people who have already requested photos, I'm emailed them to you. I you haven't got them yet, let me know.

I have emailed Jean that I was able to open the attached images. If others have same problem ...... where the attachment name is "there" but faintly and can not be opened or saved ...... I was using new rev Outlook Express V 6. In Tools, Options, Security is a line "Do not allow attachments that may be virus ...." I unchecked that and then the attachments were available. (I have other antivirus software running.)

Hi Jean,
It is so nice of you to offer to send the photos. I have not really checked the message boards in a while so am a little late in asking you to send me one of the pictures. I would like a copy of picture 966 of Richard Fenske. He was my adopted g grandmother's [ Minnie Fenske] brother. My mom has some pictures of him that my grandmother had from years ago, when he made a trip to N.D. to see Minnie. I live in Ozaukee County, W.I but I am not from here. I was in Germaina a couple of months ago just to look around and take some pictures for my mom. She went there in 1950 to take her grandmother Minnie back to visit. Anyway it would be great if you could email it too me. Thank you so much
