I have a birth certificate copy 1830, that states place of birth is St FRancis, Labois, Canada. Any idea where that is located in Canada? thanks

Surnames:
St-Francis District in Lower Canada, is south of Quebec City. Possibly the area north of Maine. There is a river St-Francois at Drummondville. You may want to post a query with the party specified in the message board for Drummond.

Surnames:
It is probably St-François de Beauce (or Beauceville) in the Beauce Valley, south of Québec City. The parish was around that early.
