No. The person I am looking for used Sarah Powers as an alias in 1943. She was around 15 years old and fave birth to my father and then gave him up for adoption. Just a long shot in the dark.

She probably was living in a home for unwed mothers, no chance she gave the birth fathers name. Good luck in your search

There's a group in the metro New Orleans area, ABC (Adoptees Birthright Committee). It may help to contact them.
