HENRY HARRY BOSTON Death record look-up (1904-1905)

Hi there,

I am looking for the death record or obituary of Henry Harry Boston. He lived on 79 Sydenham Street in 1904 ( according to the Toronto directory) but in 1905 only his wife, Mrs. Margaret BOSTON is listed. I am presuming that he died this year. Or, he took off. He does now show up in the following 1911 Canadian census....or alongside Margaret in Ohio (1920 and 1930).

Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I look next?? Thanks...Angela

Hi,

Have you tried familysearch.org ???

Once you get in the site, click on "Canada" and go
down to the Ontario records.

You might want to try the border crossings....go to USA
and then go to "border crossing...Canada to USA".

If you come up with a death date...I suggest posting it
and someone might offer to look up the obit.

Best wishes in your search.

and this comes up with various inform. including
Joyce's family tree - same family - you can
contact her

Thanks busy...I will try and pinpoint the date. Sadly familysearch has yet to give me any clues in this area....border crossings too.

I appreciate the advice!!!

Thank you Beverly,

You are right on the money because Albert and Ella Boston are in my family tree :-) But I don't think that I had William Henry Boston in my tree before so, the more the merrier.

And you are right about "Harry" possibly being a nickname. I mean, whose to say that it wasn't something else, right? I am not sure who invented that idea...maybe someone thought that because he had a son named Harry. Or maybe his middle name is Harry. I dunno.

I did find an internment record for a Henry C Boston for the year 1915 (I think) in Ohio. He died of Chlorine Poisoning...yikes. But can't be sure this is him.

Thanks again Beverly!!! -Angela-

Question for you was Margaret's husband name in brackets next to her's in the directory in my family when the husband died in brackets it had the husbands name like this (wid Henry) that's how I always knew the husband was deceased and that I had the right person. If you could check some other directories it might confirm when he died.

Hi Donna,

No actually I was looking for that but, it was just typed as 'Mrs. Margaret Boston' and no (wid. Henry).

I gather that either he traveled for his work or, there is some other explanation.

Sincerely, Angela
