I am researching Job Howland and Naomi Chase and their son Abraham that were members of a group of Quakers that settled in Adams, Ma as well as in NY state.
Any inf. on this trip would be appreciated. Why, who made it, what route they took from Dartmouth and RI etc. I have researched Abraham who would be my gr.gr,gr, gr, gr, grandfather extensively for the past 3 years but cannot seem to make the important and interesting connection with his parents and other Quakers that made this trip. My inf. seems incomplete without this connection. I find so little about Job and Naomi yet I know they were true believers in the Quaker ways
Thank you Ginny vcbwalsh@msn.com

I am related to Job Howland and Naomi Chase also. Their son Gilbert Howland and wife Elizabeth Lapham are my line. It has been a long time since you posted your query. Have you found any information on the parents of either Job or Naomi. I would greatly appreciate a response.

Thank you,
Dee
