Looking for information on my grandmother and family. Margaret Coulter was born Feb 19, 1882 in Neepawa, Manitoba, her father was David Coulter born in Ireland and her mother was Isabelle Emile (no last name) born in Ontario. She married James Edward Wood (he was from England). Any information would be appreciated.

Margaret - this is not exactly what you are looking for but may be a related family. The Neepawa heritage book has a short bio contributed by Lu Buchan of Winnipeg. Hopefully something will ring a bell for you:
My father William C. Coulter and mother Isabella Stinson were both born in Ireland seventy five miles from Belfast near Armagh in the county Tyrone. My parents never met in Ireland but they both had relatives in the United States and it was there they met in Philadephia while visiting their relatives. Our parents were married in 1888. Some years after their marriage our parents decided they wanted to come to Canada. William and Isabella along with Annie the oldest of our famly came to Neepawa along with our grandparents. Cold weather and little money made conditions most unbearable but our folks decided if other settlers could survive the hardships they could do likewise. When our famly arrive in Winnipeg it was a city of tents.
Upon coming to Neepawa our parents settled on Sec 21-15-15 in the municipality of Rosedale. This farm was where the rest of our family was born. I had 3 sisters and 4 brothes. Our education was obtained at Mountain View school. Our father was a plasterer by trade and he was able to secure work in the small towns plastering the homes that grew like mushrooms. We had a good bringing up and were all happy and healthy.
Annie married R.G. Buchanan, Rob married Cassie McCauley. Jean married Jack McFadyen. Flossie maried Roy Clyde. Ed married Lucie Buchanan. Fred married Belle Urquart. Lu married Roy Buchan and Carl married Evalena Munstein.
The Coulter clan are all deceased except Lu, Rob's second wife Ruby Hamilton, Fred's wife Bell and Carl's wife Evalena. Our famlies are widely scattered over Western Canada and the United States.

My name is Paul Bovill. My grandmothers name was Minnie Bovill,maiden name Coulter. My grandmother came to live in Glasgow at the time of the famine in Ireland, she had 12 brothers and sisters, some of her family went to Pennsylvania, e.g. brother David, Hannah Lizzie ,William, she also had family that left Ireland for Canada.
My grandmother had four of a family, my dad Robert,Joeseph, William(Billy)and one daughter Agnes.
I would like to find out about the coulter family that may be descendants of my family.

I am not sure if your David matches mine or not. All I have found out about my COULTERs is my grandmother Margaret COULTER, her parents were David COULTER Jr and Isabella COULTER. David jr. was born in Ireland (I do not know where) 25 Jan 1861 and Isabella Emiline COULTER (her maiden name was also COULTER) was born in Ontario. Isabella's parents were James COULTER born about 1820 in Ireland and Elizabeth (last name unknown) she was also born in Ireland. I do not have the names of David Coulter's parents other than his father was also a David. Margaret COULTER had a brother John James COULTER born in Manitoba. If I match up my David with yours I will let you know. Thank you.

I am interested in the Bovill side of your family. My grandfather was John William Bovill son of James Bovill & Jane Thompson. My grandfather was born in March 10, 1867 in Antrim. Any information would be appreciated.
