In this volume:
The New York genealogical and biographical record, Volume 51 By New York Genealogical and Biographical Society
is the genealogy of the Tippett Family. Starting on page 63, with George Tippett, you will see the entire line.
At the bottom of page 63 is Mahitabel Hadley, daughter of Joseph Hadley Jr. She maried Isaac Vermilye in Jul 1749.
At the top of page 67, you will see children of Mahitabel and Isaac. The marriage of Hester and Eli Reynolds is listed there. On page 72, you will se their children listed.
Now, according to this volume, the family of George Tippett resided in Yonkers, Westchester, New York. If you contact the local churches, you might be able to out if they were married there which would show that she was living there at the time.
In my research, I've found that most of the Reynolds Family were Quakers. You might try the Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, Vol 3 for New York Quaker Meeting House records
