Howard unknown born before 1640, married Margaret Stevens. Children were Edmund born abt 1635 in Norfolk died 1713 in Charles County, Maryland. He married Margaret Dent 26 May 1681 in St, Mary's City, St. Mary's County, Maryland. Hester Howard born unknown, died After 1709, married Athestand Tyndale before 1709.

I have Howards in my line. Did yours go to Virginia & then North Carolina, USA by 1700's?

I am sure some one from this line settled in North Carolina since there was a constance movement among these states and this pattern is observed in many family lines. I am trying to locate a book that my father was told about called The Howards of Virginia. Not sure if this is a real book or just a family history book someone has. My father doesnt remember.
The end of his line is Anna Howard from Shanadoa Co. Virginia around 1855-59. She married Michael Walters who was from Pen 1794. They had 3 children Elias, Melissa Miledia and Peter all born in Ohio.
I dont have her parents any other info. That line stops with her. If anyone has any info, please contact me. KMillie@aol.com
