Hi, I'd like to add some CASTNERs to the list. My ggg grandfather was Samuel CASTNER of Gwynedd, PA, b. 1737, m. abt 1764, d. 1833, m. Mary Linderman, b. Dec. 07, 1745 in Philadelphia County, PA; d. June 10, 1824, Phila, PA. Samuel received Depreciation Pay for services prior to Jan. 1st, 1781 in the PA Militia. Their son ,Jacob, was the eighth of nine children, b. Feb. 11, 1778 in Montgomery Co., PA, d. July 18, 1862. Jacob married Hannah WILSON, b. Mar.01,1783, d. June 18, 1864 in Phila., PA. He was commissioned Captain in the 6th Co. of the 156th Regiment of the Militia of Pennsylvania for 4 yrs. (Records say he was a Quaker.) Their son, Wilson James CASTNER, b. Apr.02, 1817 in PA, d. Jan 04, 1912, in Clarksville, TN. Married Mary Ann BEAUMONT, and their dau.,Marion Henry CASTNER, 1850-1912, m. Matthew GRACEY, 1847-1907, b. Eddyville, KY, d. Clarksville, Montgomery Co., TN.
