Sorry I cannot be of help...all my Kastners emigratd from Germany in the 1750's to the coast of Maine, where they've hibernated ever since...
BUT
The following may be of help:

title: The Kastner or Castner Family of Penna. ...
imprint: Phila.: Press of the Catholic Standard & Times
date: 1901
description: 31pp., ill., (port.), 31cm.
author: S. Castner
type: book

Take this data to your local reference librarian and ask for a search via interlibrary loan. If s/he asks for a reference, say,
'go to <americanantiquarian.org> and type in "Castner"
...good luck, R.C.

Hi Donna,
Samuel of Gwynedd, b.1737, is also my gggg grandfather. I have an original oil painting of him handed down from my great
grandfather Samuel Jr. Samuel of Gwynedd's son John married Lydia Rhoads and their house is still standing in the Norristown Pa.Farm Park(about to be fully restored) built in 1802. Go check it out. If you would like a copy of the painting I'll send it to you.

I was looking for Marion Henry Castner, my grandfather's mother, and found this link. It's so interesting that I now live just west of Norristown, and 5 minutes from the Norristown Farm park where you mentioned the Castner house.
Do you know anything about where the Castner's came from? Germany? What was their occupation and religion? I would love to have a copy of the portrait of Samuel, my gggg grandfather.
