Weston is my 4th great grandfather. I have found an entry in Massachusetts Soldiers and Sailors which indicates he served 3 months and 21 days. Info says enlisted in Rhode Island but served in Dartmouth, MA.
Would like info on what and why he served when and where he did.

It states he served as a guard at Dartmouth. He only served for 3 months I forget how many days but he could not have done very much. It did not say Ma. maybe there is a Darthmouth in RI.
