I am trying to locate any information possible on 2 uncles that I have never met, Richard and Edward Lemos/Lamas. They are 1/2 brothers to my mother Gail G. Wolfe and my Aunt Kay C. Wolfe. They all have the same mother, Gladys S. Ellis (maiden name). I'm told that they were of french descent and born in New Bedford, MA. The both served in the military and would have likely been born some time in the early to mid 30's. My mom and aunt were born in New York but then, as toddlers, were left with "aunt Annie", in New Bedford, until their father located them in 1952 (approx ages 12 & 13). That was the last time they saw their brothers. If any of this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear from you! Thanks

Thank you so much! I had located the 1940 census as well as Edward's death record before. However I was never able to locate anything that linked them to my grandmother, Gladys Ellis; and finally here it is. She's listed in Richard's obit. My heart just about stopped. Now I need to see if I can find anything more on Gladys. Thanks again!!
