Interested in Lena or maybe Magdelena Baum arriving from Baden Baden, Germany before 1858 and moving to Milwaukee, Wis. with husband Lewis Foltz or similiar spelling of last name. They had sons Lewis and Joseph.
Lena had sister Susan Baum who married Lewis Gangel.
Lena, oldest, and Susan had brother John Conrad Baum born 1835. I saw Baum and Foltz listed. Please contact.

I am from the Knoells of Milwaukee County, Town of Franklin. Christopher Knoell Immigrated and settle there from Germany in 1826 or so. He homesteaded and lived there until his death in the late 1800's. His son, Valentine Knoell had around 12 kids, one of which, Christian Nicholas Knoell, b. 1863, moved out west in 1890. He settled in Hoquiam, WA until his death in 1930. Many of his siblings also migrated west and settled in Tacoma, WA.

Be sure to check both Knöll and Knoell spellings when digging through the local German newspapers. Depending on the typesetter and the quality of the images the spelling may also appear to be Knoll.
