Any descendants of Clark Worden, Sr. (1790-1849), who married Irene Donaldson. They had seven children -- William H. (1830-1904), John D. (1813-1853), Lovicy Chamberlin (1816-1897), Clark Jr. (1819-1883), Franklin (1822-1824), Francis G. (1825-1903), and James P. (1832-?). I am descended from William H. Worden, who married Melissa E. Linsday in 1853.

Elijah Lindsay (?-1844) married Miriam Vail in 1798? They had ten children I believe. Cortland (1807-?), Ira (1799-?), Daniel (1801-?), Mary (1804-?), Ferdinand (1811-?), Josiah (1813-?), Darius (1815-?), Charles (1815-?), Almon (1821-?), and Celinda (1813-?). I am descended from Cortland, who married Hannah Tappan. I believe the children were born in Onondaga County, New York.

Surnames: Tappan/Lindsay/Crawford/Williams
John, My great-grandmother was Esther Tappan Crawford. Her father was Allen Tappan who was born in NY and moved to MI then NE. Her mother is listed as Mary J Tappan in the 1960 NE census, I believe that she must have been Mary Jane Williams as shown in the St Clair MI marriages to Allen Tappan. Their ages match with the NE census listing. The marriage witnesses are listed as Lindsays: Alonsah Lindsay & Alvira M. Lindsay and the justice of the peace also appears to be a Lindsay, C. Lindsay.I am guessing that they are cousins to my Tappans. Perhaps your Hannah Tappan is related to my family. You may contact me directly. I would love to share what I know and learn what you know. Thanks.

Surnames: Lindsay, Wallace
Hi! My ggreat-uncle, Richard Lindsay, had a summer home on Lake Huron in St. Clair according to his will. He never married, but was Detroit City Clerk from 1913 - 1926. He lived with his sister, Elizabeth, who never married either. They were the children of William Lindsay and Mary Wallace and come over from Angus, Dundee, Scotland around 1863. I have info since they come to the US, but no idea where they came in at. They were the brother and sister of William, John, Robert (my great-grandfather who was a Detroit fireman.), Mary E., Andrew, and Jesse. Have you found any info in your research on this branch? Unfortunately, my clan were very close-mouthed about a lot of stuff, family history being one of them. Please email me at tomarob@att.net as my e-mail address recently changed and Ancestry.com has the wrong address, if you do have any info. Thank you, Marian Lindsay Pritchard.

He was from somewhere in Michigan and ran away at the age of 14, to Canada, had quite a few bro & sis. His birthdate was June 30, 1888. If you happen to know ANYTHING about him please write me at (plhb929@comcast.com), I would be so thankful for any info on him, sofar a complete road block! You were the only Lindsay's from Michigan, that I could find?

Surnames: Donelson Donaldson Worden
I am descended from Irene Donelson/Donaldson Worden's brother, John and have information on the family if you want it. He had remained an enigma for me for years until I found his father in Colrain, MA.
