Are you related to Cresencio Villareal maybe 1850? Married I believed her name was Panfila, not sure on her last name? I understand he was from Spain and had just migrated with his brother (dont know anything about the brother) Panfila was from Tamaulipas around Sugar Lake (Marte R. Gomez Lake). Had a Daughter by the name of Gertrudis abt. 1890's. Cant open your link to find out cuz im at work and it wont let me but i am eager to learn. Gertrudis was my great grand mother died a bit after she gave birth to my grandfathers brother Pablo... between 1920- 1930. Supposedly Panfila helped raise my grandfather and his siblings.

Does anyone know of the following, they are my Mother's family that we lost contact with. Thanks for any help.
My Aunt: Manuela Solis maiden name: Soto b-1908 Sinaloa,Mexico d-1978 McAllen Texast.

Her Husband: Leopoldo Solis b-1904 Mexico d-(no date but it was in McAllen,Texas.
Their Son: Leopoldo Solis Jr. b-1929 no further info,
I'm sure my Aunt Manuela had other children but I have no names.

My Mother: Alberta Soto married name: Alberta Alvarado
Romero b-1904 Los Mochis,Sin,Mx d-1979 in San Juan Capistrano. My Aunt Manuela and my Mother had family in Lake Elsinore,Riverside,Ca Domingo Ortega Soto, Alejandra Ortega Soto and Mical Soto, all lived and died there. If
anyone knows anyone that can help me make contact with any living relatives in Mercedes, McAllen or La Grulla,Tx, please contact me. Thanks

Panfila was a Villarreal as well. Her parents: Nicolas Villarreal and Severiana Mendoza. Cresencio and Panifila recieved a dispensation for marriage, they were related. Cresencio ancestry is:
1.Blas Villarreal and Miceala Torres Navarro (both from Sabinas)
2.Fernando Villarreal (mestizo) b 1760 and Guadalupe Pena (born a slave)
3.Pedro Villarreal b 1807 and Nicolasa Molina (native american)
4.Tranquilino Villarreal b 1833 and Micaela Villarreal(parents dont know yet)
Cresencio b 1859 married Panfila in year 1880

Sorry, but I was wrong on Tranquilino Villarreal( Cresencio's dad). He was not the son of Pedro Villarreal because that Tranquilino died shortly after being born. New information states that our Tranquilino was born in Monterrey. He may be the son of Pedro Villarreal and Gertrudis Ayala but I wont make a call on that just yet. Panfila's mom was Severiana Mendoza and she may be the daughter of Juan Mendoza and Cornelia de la Rosa. Severiana and Nicolas Villarreal had a son name Pablo and when he died a Bernardo Mendoza reported his death and stated Pablo was living with him, he was 14 , and Severiana and Nicolas were deceased by 1883.
