This was interesting. Martha is in the 1930 Census in Fort Worth, but I couldn't find her before that so clue as to her husband except he was from Tennessee. Stumbled across a family group sheet for John McKay and Martha turns out to be a Clanton, was married to A Beckham and then after he died to a Putman. But still no idea what Putman. Here is my revised Texas 1930 Census Entry:

MARTHA PUTMAN Fort Worth, Tarrant County
She is 63 TN and widowed. She is living with her married daughter Pearl McKay 43 TX TN TN and her husband John McKay 55 TX. She will die here May 13, 1931. Okay this is interesting. I found a family group sheet for John Henry McKay. He was born December 16, 1874 in Tarrant County and will die here in Fort Worth May 13, 1974. His wife is Pearl May Beckham born here January 22, 1887 and will die here April 4, 1962. Her folks were Grady Beckham born in Tennessee in June 1865 and her mother is Martha Clanton born in Tennessee in August 1866. Ages and birthplaces and everything tie in perfectly. Sooo Grady must have died and Martha married a Putman who also died. I can’t find her in 1900, 1910 or 1920 though so no idea what Putman she was married to.

Interesting.
