Looking for info on Henry Brown. He married Amanda Wedgeworth, 1861, in Harrison Co., Ms. They were on the 1880 census in Vernon Parish with the Wedgeworth family. He was in the Magnolia Masonic Lodge in Beauregard Parish in 1892. Children were 1. Morgan 2. Josha 3. Jackson 4. Delila 5. Jefferson 6. David Homer. I think he died in 1905 but cannot verify this or find where he was buried.Would appreciate any information concerning this family.

you seem to be stuck in the same place I am. This family is very elusive. none of the people listed above are consistent in the census records....It's just baffling to me.
I do know that the family was in Vernon Parish and then in 1913 Beauregard Parish was formed and it appears that where they lived in Vernon was absorbed into Beauregard. So...I have been scanning back and forth between the 2. The majority of the family as you probably know are in the Beauregard Cemetery. I have scanned every cemetery in Vernon and Beauregard and can't find Henry or Amanda anywhere.
