Surnames: Hurley
Danial Hurley, born Cork 1832, sailed to America in the early 1850's and then embarked for Australia in late 1857 where he became a publican in the remote south west of New South Wales at a bush pub called the Murgha Inn near Moulamein on the Edwards River. Like many people of his time he lost touch with his family in Ireland due to the tryanny of distance. My mother, Irene Hurley, is the grand daughter of Daniel and sister of Daniel Robert Hurley. We would like to contact Daniel's descendants in Ireland.

I am sorry I am not from Ireland but from Australia. My gr.grandmother Catherine Agnes HURLEY b.1869 and dec. 1952 was from Ireland. She migrated to Australia and ended marrying my gr.grandfather who was went to the opal fields NSW Australia. I do not know anything about her family but I think my Mum said that her father had a pub. Any sisters/brothers ? More info would be appreciated.
