I would be interested in any information that you may have to help trace my Great Grandmother, Jane Moorehead. She married John McLucas around 1860 -1865. She may have been the daughter of Andrew Moorehead and Catherine Masterson - most of their children were christened in Clones, Co. Monaghan.

These are well-known and respected Clones /Killeevan / Newbliss names and are listed clearly on the Church Records of these Parishes. I have done a lot of research on all of these names - unfortunately, the posting refers back to a time before I had a serious virus which caused me to wipe most of the data from its memory. If you wish I can re-check these Church Records for you but I would need more data than your Posting suggests.

No, I'm sorry, I can't help you. The Jane McLucas (nee Moorehead) mentioned in my posting was the daughter of Joseph Moorhead b. 1808 in Co. Tyrone, Ireland. Her mother was Charlotte Adams b. 1810

This information (about Jane's parents) came from Ben Moorhead. I haven't been able to verify it yet, nor contact Ben for over a year.
