I hope I am posting this in the correct area. I am hoping to find some information on a line of my husband's family.

We have traced a line back to a Joseph Sedenary in England in 1803. He was born in Italy in around 1756. Family stories have always said he was from nobility, and we have found here on ancestry and at the Este University Library, two coat of arms in the name of Sedinari. One from the 17th century, the other from the 18th - 19th century.

I was hoping someone would be able to point me in the direction to find some information on this family.

Although this is the first time I have seen this, but my only advice would be that if he was born in Italy, try sending a letter to the place he was born, and ask them about him. Also have you tried looking up in his town if there are anymore surnames as his. I hope this helps, and good luck to you.
