Surnames: DOWNEY, BOYCE, MANLEY
Searching for information on great grandmother MARY DOWNEY, born 1854 in Cork town unknown. Came to US on the ship TRIPOLI in 1870 at age 16. Seek information on parents or a possible town this family might have resided in. Mary Downey wed John Boyce in Massachusetts and had sev. children, one named Manley after family friend but no-one know if it was first or last name of friend. Thanks for any help

MANLEY family are all over Co Mayo. Part of Mayo used to be in Sligo, but was separated, which can be confusing. Look in Kilmoremoy Parish where there are many.
