I don't know if you have gotten a response to your Missouri Holman, but I have a Missouri Holman born about 1848 in Missouri. She was the daughter of John H. Holman and Jerusha Titus.

My HOLEMAN has always been a mystery. Just in the
past few days I discovered my Mary Ann HOLEMAN was
actually Mary "Polly" Ann HOLDMAN. Daughter of Riley
HOLDMAN of Valle Township, Jefferson county, MO.
I am in touch with a HOLDMAN right now.
I found a John HOLEMAN living next door to my HOLEMAN's
(HOLDMAN) in Valle twp, 1850, age 10 b. MO living in the
Caleb WILLIAMS household; Caleb - a 62 yr old farmer b. North Carolina.
Do you think either of you have any connection to the HOLEMAN HOLMAN HOLDMAN families who lived in
Ray county and Jefferson county, Missouri 1850 and on or
before?
Thanks,
Sandy

So far I see no connection with the names you have mentioned. I do have some Holman's in Ray, Pike and Audrain Counties, but none that match the names you have given. I will let you know if I find any information or connection.

Thanks, Barb, for your response! I have recently rec'd info that indicates that my Missour Holman was actually a Kirby and her mother, Eliza Owensby married a Holman, and Missouri and her sister, Martha were living in the home of the Holmans, etc. Thanks for your email, tho. Joyce Noble
