Hi,
Looking for information on my GGrandfather Warren Barrett and his wif Jennie. He was born in 1864 and died in 1936. He resided in both Bath and Erwin, NY. he is buried at Coopers Plains Cemetery nex to his wife who was born in 1867 and died in 1905. I had believed his parents were Warren Barret Sr. and Phobe Ann West from Campbell, NY. But now I don't think it is so, she would have been too old. ANY HELP WOULD BE AWSOME. One of there children was my Great grandmother Mae/ Mary Barrett. Who married Ernest W. Cole Jr. THANKS!

I checked the 1870 census & found a Warren Barrett, age 7, living in Campbell. He is with, I assume, his parents & they are on page 526. The older Warren Barrett & his wife Phebe are listed on page 528. I`ll type up both the records below.
In 1850 I found the Clarissa Comstock who is listed in 1870 with the Barrets. She is with Orlando Comstock, age 56, b. NY & several other Comstocks who are probably their children. One of these is Delia, age 11, probably the same person as Adelia Barret in 1870. This family is in Campbell on pg. 123 in 1850.

Hello!
I'm now thinking that Amos Barrett is the son of Warren Barrett and Phoebe Ann West. Warren being born in 1805 and died in 1881 and Phoebe Ann West being born on 20th of Nov 1810. Died in 1886. Both are buried at Hope Cemeteryy in Campbell. Married about 1830 in Campbell. Do you think you could look up the 1840 census to see if there is an Amos Clark Barrett living with them. He would be about 3 yrs. old. THANKS!

Below is the 1850 census record for the Barretts. The 1840 only gives the name of the head of household, others in the home are indicated by sex & age group only. Amos is the son of Warren & Phebe. In 1860 they are in Campbell (pg. 393) with five of their kids, Thomas, Isaac, Mehitable, Judith & Winfield. Amos & Delia are listed as a separate family either in Warren`s home or living right next door. They have no children yet.

Do you know whether Warren and Phoebe Barrett had a child named George W., born about 1824? I know that George Barrett lived in Campbell in 1870 (in 1860 and 1880, he was living in Cohocton, Steuben). He was a farm laborer, married to Anjenle/Angeline UNKNOWN (b. abt. 1838) with children Della, Lewis, Georgianna, Edwin, Frank, Elizabeth, Frederick, Ida, Pearl.
